Established in 1927, Labor Research Association is a New York City-based labor advocacy organization. Jonathan Tasini, is a labor movement journalist, author, researcher and activist. He served as the president of the National Writers Union for over a decade and is one of the most respected analysts around of issues facing the labor movement. Tasini has called for the labor movement to take a position of leadership in this crisis. He argues that the situation is an ideal opportunity for labor to show it has the right ideas and perspective to lead us out of this crisis.
